Pickleball in Sedalia, North Carolina
Sedalia players have an active indoor schedule just minutes away at the Gibsonville Community Center and a major outdoor destination at Bur Mil Park in Greensboro.
Gibsonville is the convenient everyday choice for local play, with sessions organized by skill level. Bur Mil Park supplies ten permanent lighted courts for players who prefer outdoor games.
Indoor Gyms and Outdoor Courts
Gibsonville Community Center at 314 Tenth Street charges 1 dollar per day for Gibsonville residents and 3 dollars for nonresidents. Annual passes are available, with discounts for seniors.
The indoor schedule divides sessions by playing level, making it easy to find a comfortable pace.
Bur Mil Family Tennis and Pickleball Center at 5834 Bur Mil Club Road in Greensboro has ten permanent regulation courts.
These outdoor courts are lighted and free on a first come basis from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm when official programs are not using them.
Beginner Sessions and Skill Development
Gibsonville runs dedicated novice and intermediate blocks during the week. Wednesday morning focuses on beginner and intermediate players, while Friday divides the day between intermediate play and novice play.
Sunday afternoon welcomes all levels together.
These skill based blocks give new players a clear place to start. Bring a paddle and clean indoor court shoes, learn basic scoring, and use the novice sessions to build consistency.

Weekly Schedule and Competitive Play
Gibsonville offers indoor play throughout the week. Advanced play runs Monday morning, Thursday evening features open play, and Friday provides several hours split between different skill groups.
Sunday afternoon brings everyone together for open gym sessions.
Bur Mil Park is the better setting for a club gathering, round robin, or competitive match practice.
Ten courts allow large groups to run multiple games at once without waiting for a single gym floor. The lights keep courts open until 8:00 pm year round.
Guest and Visitor Information
For a short drive from Sedalia and an organized player mix, head to Gibsonville Community Center.
Visiting nonresidents can jump in for 3 dollars, with Wednesday, Friday afternoon, and Sunday being the most welcoming times for newer players.
Choose Bur Mil Park if you are playing with a full group or prefer being outdoors. Bring your own paddles, balls, water, and sun protection.
